Micheal and Amy’s Bribie Island Wedding was a simply beautiful day with plans that all came together perfectly.
The morning preparations were at the popular On The Beach Resort. The rooms have stunning ocean views and are just a step away from the white sands of Woorim Beach. What better way to start the day of your wedding than with a morning stroll along the beach?
Their garden ceremony was held in the Bribie Island Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park. The park is conveniently right across the road from the Bribie Island RSL. Their fantastic celebrant was Belinda Booth from Beloved Ceremonies.
For location photos, we went to the nearby Bongaree Jetty. I hadn’t photographed there before, but the sunset and views were spectacular. From here we could see the Glass House Mountains across the water. The beach is small but with gorgeous white sand and so close to the Bribie Island RSL, it was really perfect.
Another option would have been to travel across Bribie to get to the Woorim surf beaches, which are stunning. However, any time spent travelling is cutting into the bride and grooms special day, so the Bongaree Jetty was a great alternative. It was also a rather windy day, so a surf beach wouldn’t be the best option for a bride with her hair out!
Their amazing wedding reception was held at the Bribie Island RSL Club.
I hope you enjoy viewing Micheal and Amy’s Bribie Island Wedding as much as I enjoyed capturing it.
Amy and Micheal were clearly caught up in the emotion of it all when Amy put Micheal’s ring on his right hand, instead of his left accidentally. They didn’t notice until after the ceremony!
When we arrived at Bongaree Jetty, our driver remarked, “I thought you were going to take them somewhere nice?”
I don’t know what he was talking about. This place was magic!
