James and Rachel’s love story at Grove Rooftop Bar began eight years before their wedding day, evolving through mutual friends and flourishing ever since.
After a romantic holiday to witness the Northern Lights, the day of James and Rachel’s Grove Rooftop Bar Wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love, surrounded by close friends and family. The ceremony took place at the Brisbane Registry Office, with the reception hosted at The Grove Rooftop Bar in the heart of Brisbane city. James and Rachel aimed for a natural and organic feel for their wedding day, wanting photos that authentically reflected their personalities and the depth of their love for each other.
Despite not being huge fans of being photographed, James and Rachel were remarkably relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, allowing me to beautifully capture their love and laughter on this special day.
Adding a unique touch, James performed an impressive rap for Rachel titled “Super Rach” that left everyone, including myself, thoroughly impressed.
The lyrics are so well-crafted that I’m excited to share them throughout the rest of this post. Enjoy reliving these memorable moments from James and Rachel’s Grove Rooftop Bar Wedding!
“This one is for the girl in the beautiful white
Hands down no doubt she’s a beautiful wife
When she came into the room I was tearin’ up
Got a hanky in my pocket just to wipe ‘em up”
“Now she’s fun, she’s real, she’s my kinda deal
She shoots buckets and she’s got the right kinda feel
She cute, she kind, she’s my kinda find
She always in my heart and she’ll never leave my mind”
“Bailey brought on motherhood, marriage makes her Mrs Hood
Welcome to the neighbourhood onwards onto adult hood
You’re the kind of girl I was looking for
And yes I’ll get slapped for rapping yo!”
“I said, excuse me you’re a hell of a wife
I mean my-my-my-my I’m like, is this real life?
I mean, no lie, I’m loving this high
My love is to the sky until the day I die oh!”
“Yes, I do, Yes, I do.
Somebody please pinch me no it can’t be true
I’m no Nicki Minaj, but I made these words up
Now stand up cos that’s my time up”
“Girl, you got my heartbeat runnin’ away
Beating like a drum and it’s coming your way
Can’t you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?”
“He got that Super Rach!”
“Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass”
“Yeah that’s his Super Rach!”
