Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens Wedding

Before their Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens Wedding, Jade and Thomas first crossed paths at Jade’s sister’s wedding. It’s astonishing to think about it now, but their connection wasn’t instantaneous! Jade had to put in some effort to capture Thomas’s attention.

In her own words: “While I was trying to ‘hook in’, Thomas kept staring distantly over my head!” (The height difference between them might have played a role here!)

Thomas was clearly playing it cool. However, he couldn’t keep up the act for long, as they were both completely smitten with each other when I met them after their engagement.

Jade and Thomas’ wedding at Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens became the perfect setting. It was actually a backup option after their original venue sadly closed due to the challenges of the post-COVID economic environment. We were prepared with umbrellas and ponchos, expecting a touch of rain, but the day turned out to be beautiful.
