One classic headshot

You need one great looking headshot that you can rely on for press releases, articles, marketing material and of course, all of your social media profiles – and that’s what the Professional Headshots service is all about!

But to get the one perfect portrait, we need to try a few different angles, poses and lighting setups. You can pick your favourite image from the final selection.

Of your choosing

All of the final images are provided for you to keep in large resolution and are enhanced with basic colour balancing and exposure corrections.

Select your favourite image for professional editing including skin retouching and background editing or removal at your request.

However you need

We are also happy to provide your edited headshot image in different formats optimised for online use or specific printing sizes.

You may not have the technical knowledge to do this yourself, so we want to make sure your image looks fantastic as intended wherever you use it!

What to Wear

Feel free to reach out to me for wardrobe advice; I’m here to help you make the best choices for your session. If you’re undecided, don’t hesitate to bring along a change of clothes. Here are some general tips to keep in mind:

  • Keep the focus on your face by avoiding distracting patterns, text, or bright colours.
    Opt for darker clothing when possible.
  • If you prefer some colour in your outfit, look for muted, earthy, or pastel tones. Strategic splashes of contrasting colour can work well if executed thoughtfully.
  • Err on the side of overly formal rather than overly casual, unless a casual look is specifically desired.
  • Consider bringing a suit jacket if you plan to wear a business shirt or blouse.
  • Neaten up long hair by tying it back or pinning it up. You can experiment with different styles during the session if you’d like.
  • Feel confident and comfortable in your attire, as it will contribute to the overall success of your personal branding photography session.

Best times + locations

You may have heard of the “golden hour” before sunset. This magical time of day provides the perfect lighting for outdoor portraits, with soft, golden hues that enhance your photos.

For outdoor portrait sessions, scheduling around 1 or 2 hours before sunset ensures we capture the best light. However, if earlier in the day is more convenient for you, we can still achieve great results, though it might require a bit more effort to find suitable lighting in shaded areas.

If a studio-style or indoor portrait is your preference, we have the flexibility to shoot at any time. I’m even available to come to your premises after hours, particularly for clinics, offices, or practices, to minimise any disruption to your business operations.

Whether you prefer a picturesque outdoor setting or the convenience of your own location, I can bring my mobile studio setup to you. All I need is space with ample room to work comfortably.
