Brittany and Riley’s Somerset Village Wedding was a significant occasion, as it is for any couple, but these two created a uniquely personal and relaxed atmosphere that I really enjoyed.
Perhaps the location was largely responsible for the joyous atmosphere. Out in the fresh air, away from any noisy roads or crowded streets. It’s an opportunity to enjoy one another’s company without distraction. Where one can truly be there, present in the moment.
Although, it’s the type of location those who know Brittany and Riley would expect them to choose. They really are an outdoorsy, adventurous couple from the far northern town of Weipa. As was mentioned multiple times in speeches on the night, they are true ambassadors for the lifestyle of boating, camping and fishing!
The amazing ceremony and reception venues are courtesy of Bebe’s Country Weddings who did a stellar job of styling on the day and keeping all the thirsty North Queenslanders supplied with cold beers. Great Northerns, of course.
Brittany is a childhood friend of Imogen (my gorgeous wife), so it was wonderful to both photograph and attend as a guest.
I hope you enjoy their story!
Will.
